摘要
This report describes properties of a new candidate energetic explosive, polymer bonded 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one (NTO). PB-NTO was successfully made with good agglomerate size and strength by using safe water suspension. Impact sensitivity and thermal analysis data for these PB-NTO indicated there was no incompatibility between NTO and these binder, PB-NTO was less sensitive and more stable than RDX in all the tests, and it was less impact sensitive than the pure NTO. DSC. measurements showed that active energy of PB-NTO (497.244KSmol(-1)) was higher than that of NTO (365.80OKSmol(-1)). NTO/F246G/PS* column density was 91%. It produced excellent agglomerates.
