摘要
The green-house effect has been a major concern for all researchers and big company world-wide. This study reduces the power consumption of single server without degrading the quality of the service by focusing on minimizing the migration of Virtual Machine. Existing migration system for Virtual Machine does not perform well for kinds of load toward single server. Thus, a new algorithm is calculated on the fly the lower threshold limit only by applying statistical method, and three sigma theories are applied to get the desire range for the threshold region. The proposed algorithm test at Local Regression allocation policy, Minimum Migration Time selection policy and the parameter number is set as 1.2. The target area for the optimization of single server usage at the lower threshold region only.
