Development of a fast affine-projection algorithm for multichannel adaptive filtering: Specific features

摘要：
A fast multichannel affine projection algorithm for adaptive filters with unequal numbers of complex weights in the channels is considered. The transient period in this algorithm is shorter than that in a normalized least-mean-square algorithm by a factor of 3-5. However, if the number of the weights is large, the computational complexity of the two algorithms is approximately the same. The results of the comparative modeling of these algorithms in the problem of cancellation of a two-channel acoustic echo are presented. The modeling shows the basic properties of the proposed adaptive-filtering algorithm.
