LOCATION OF AFFILIATES OF LARGEST ENTERPRISES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC FROM QUALITATIVE POINT OF VIEW

Attention devoted to the affiliates of largest enterprises is far from sufficient. This paper aims at the analysis and assessment of location factors delimitating the spatial distribution of affiliates of largest enterprises in the Czech Republic. Our research has been executed by means of questionnaire and was primarily of qualitative character. It should be stressed that traditional factors, such as infrastructure or geographical location still play a dominant role during the location of affiliates. It is worth noticing that location factors preferred by Czech and foreign companies differ quite a lot. And not surprisingly, largest companies tend to prefer the territories where their headquarters are collocated.
