Attribute Reduction Algorithm Based on Equivalence Matrix

The equivalence matrix reduction algorithm is proposed in this paper. First, the equivalence matrix under the relationship between the relation matrix and the equivalence classes are introduced, which can be instead of seeking the explicit equivalence classes in tradition algorithm. Moreover the measure on the attribute importance is established based on this equivalent matrix. Second, the corresponding attribute reduction algorithms on the information systems and decision information system are given. Finally, two corresponding examples are proposed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithms.
