Study on the Combusting Flow behind the V-gutter Bluff Body with Strongly Swirling Flow

摘要
Numerical simulation is done on the combusting flow behind the V-gutter with strong swirl in different swirling number and different main flow inlet temperature to study their effect on the recirculation zone, component distribution, drag coefficient and Strouhal number, as well as the chemical reaction after burner and made comparison with the cold main flow inlet condition. For the burning flow, 800K is selected as the main flow inlet temperature to ignite the hydrogen after V-gutter and then decreased to 300K to reach a stable burning area under a cold main flow condition. The combusting area is stable through out the main flow temperature changing and almost meets the ignition requirements.
