A multicriteria decision support approach for the capital project investment decision

摘要：
The decision regarding choice of evaluation method for capital projects and the companion decision of the degree of weighting given to each method when multiple methods are used is often complex. The decisions may also include both objective and subjective data. Decision makers could benefit from a decision support tool as they perform this task. This paper proposes the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process as a decision support tool for this process. Directions for future research are also offered.
