A mathematical model for helical split point drill flanks

摘要
A new helical split drill point has been developed, and a helical flank model using five grinding parameters was established In order to determine a unique set of grinding parameters as well as guiding the grinder design, the characteristics of the grinding parameters have been analyzed. One parameter is fixed to constant value to simplify the construction of the machine.
