摘要：

To know the extent of diversity in indian wheat (Triticum aestivum L. emend. Fiori & Paol.) material for black rust (Puccinia graminis tritici) resistance, an experiment was conducted in 2000-2001 to evaluate the Advance varietal trial material of the period 1997-2000. Twenty-six pathotypes of Puccinia graminis Pers. f sp tritici Eriks. & Henn. were,used for the screening of material under temperature controlled greenhouse conditions. Seven different resistance patterns were observed in 99 lines, which were found resistant to all the black-rust pathotypes in India.
