摘要
This paper presents a wavelet based descriptors for soil moisture estimation using Synthetic Aperture Radar data. The single look complex SAR image is transformed using complex stationary wavelet transform, which is constructed using a complex filter bank. The wavelet coefficients are grouped together using spatial relationships and Fourier based descriptors are preformed within wavelet domain across different subbands. The wavelet based descriptors were compared with the ground measurements and a good correlation was achieved.
