Dynamic Access Control In Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless Sensor nodes are constrained devices in terms of power and processing capabilities. The lifetime of these networks can be extended by the deployment of new nodes as and when required. In order to make the deployment of the nodes secure, an access control mechanism must be employed. In this paper, an access control mechanism based on elliptical curve cryptography has been presented. The mechanism uses computational efficiency of Elliptical Curve cryptography to provide features which include authentication and key establishment. The security and performance analysis of the proposed scheme has also been presented.
