摘要
This paper proposes an optimal control of PI controller for VSC-HVDC system operating in parallel with AC transmission line. A non-linear model of VSC-HVDC system is developed through MATLAB programming. This paper clearly clarifies the faster stabilization of the network as compared to a conventional PI controller without optimal control. In order to tune the parameters of the PI controller, a heuristic optimization technique called Particle Swarm Optimization is implemented.
