In this epilogue the various contributions to the special issue of Human Movement Science on the relevance of ecological and dynamical approaches to perception and action for the theory and practice of rehabilitation are discussed. The discussion is preceded by some introductory remarks with respect to rehabilitation and the two approaches in question. It is concluded that these approaches provide new ways to conceptualize and analyze movement disorders, and lead to promising attempts to improve therapies.
