摘要
The capacitated vehicle routing problem with time-dependent travel times has many real-life applications. Due to the computational complexity, metaheuristics are commonly used to solve the problem. In this paper, a relatively new metaheuristic, Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm, is developed to solve the problem. Besides, the ABC algorithm is revised to improve its performance. Benchmark problem instances of different sizes are generated and used for experimental tests. The results show that the revised ABC can significantly improve the performance of the algorithm in solving the problems.
