GC Separation of 2- and 3-methyl butyl-acetates. The two solutes co-elute on our standard DB-WAX 20 M, 1 mu m film thickness. There are reports in the literature that this is a difficult separation. It has been suggested that I try Carbowax 1500 or 600, but I have been unable to locate such columns. Do you know a column that will separate these compounds?
