The 24-GHz Band Beam Switchable Triple-Plane Active Sector Antenna

摘要
In order to realize a compact beam switchable antenna, a 6 x 2 triple-plane sector antenna array is fabricated and tested. The array antennas are assembled with an polygon angle of 140 degrees for seamless beam switch characteristics within -3 dB beam width. S-parameters of the amplifier module and radiation patterns of the active antenna array are measured. The amplifier module has 8 dB to 11 dB gain and over 15 dB isolation in output terminals. Seamless beam switch capability of 120 degrees in -3 dB beam width is confirmed.
