摘要
Smart grid defines a modern power system with completely integrated, flexible and communicative power supply structure. It is becoming smarter by adding distributed energy sources, control and automation techniques and advanced information technologies resulting in increased degree of complexity. This complexity of smart grid systems brings along a new set of problems and it is imperative to address them. The purpose of this paper is to provide a technical overview of physically realizable techniques for modeling and control of smart grids based on real time information, actions and monitoring for efficient, reliable, power dense and economic operations. These techniques are analyzed in detail and their effectiveness has been demonstrated.
