摘要
The performance of the double skin facade depends much on the number of the influences such as the construction aspects of the facade and the environmental conditions. The knowledge of these influences on the performance of the double skin facade is essential for determination of successful design of the facade and its function in the building. Thus,, complete sensitivity analyses should be carried out. The work presented in this study shows the impact of the wind and solar radiation on the performance of the double skin facade, whereas, the impact of the construction details on the facade is the subject of a separate study. The analysis of the wind and solar radiation impact on the facade is realised with the simulation models performed in the Matlab/Simulink or CFD programmes, which were validated by the on-site measurements. In the result the thermal and airflow performance of the facade was shown as a function of the wind speed, wind direction, as well as the solar radiation. The results obtained in this study should help to understand the behaviour of the double skin facade under various weather conditions, what can be further applied in the designing process.
