摘要
This paper presents a tapped-inductor based step-up PWM DC-DC converter. The converter is based upon well-known quasi-z-source inverter topology. The proposed converter can provide high voltage gain without operating at higher duty ratio. The operating principle, steady state analysis in continuous conduction mode and boundary operating condition are presented. The converter analysis with non-idealities is also conducted. The expressions for output voltage and efficiency are derived with considering non-idealities in converter. The effect of load resistance on gain and efficiency is evaluated. A low power level prototype is prepared to verify analytical and simulation results.
