The causes analysis of construction accidents

As the mainstay of country economy, construction industry has not well solved the question of the construction security. This paper firstly proposes the method of FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and analyzes the appliance of it in the construction industry. On the basis of the process and factors of accidents, using FTA and combining the practice of construction accidents in 2004, this article investigates the causes of construction accidents from the view of people, thing, environment and management. Then this paper proposes the advices of preventing and reducing these accidents, which is important to solve the question of the construction security.
