摘要：
This paper presents a novel method for the design of a Power System Stabilizer (PSS) using a Genetic Algorithm (GA). A generalized controller is considered and the parameters are tuned by redrafting the problem as an optimization task and the steps of the GA are applied for the solution. The simulation results indicate the superior performance of a genetic tuned controller over a conventional PSS. Copyright (C) 2004 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
