摘要
To solve the increasingly serious urban transportation problem, the research and application of intelligent transportation system becomes the inevitable choice for all countries. The paper introduces design and implementation of a communication platform for intelligent transportation system. It focuses on the process of communication, the design of communication protocol and the implementation of communication software. The platform achieved real-time communication and it can monitor, track and locate buses. A great deal of test and experiment show that the platform is feasible. This platform has been successfully applied to specific projects and achieved good effect.
