摘要
The current capabilities of cloud-based educational services are researched on the example of Competence-Based Assessment implementation as cloud service for Software Engineering programs. In this paper, a conceptual Cloud Service based model and a process for the automatic evaluation of competences applied to the field of Software Engineering is proposed. The proposal is based on multiple choice tests as evaluation instrument and the establishment of the relationship among competences, learning outcomes and the evaluation criterion of the rubrics used for assessment. By linking competences to learning outcomes students can know their academic training needs to apply for a specific position in the labor market. This process is applied to a real subject defined in an e-learning portal, which provides this process as an educational service (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
