Phase of the sound field diffracted on a plane rectangular vertical screen in a waveguide

Calculations of the phase of a sound field diffracted on a plane vertical opaque screen in a waveguide are described. The held produced by a point omnidirectional cw source is presented as a sum of normal waves. The problem is solved in the single-scattering Kirchhoff approximation.
