摘要：
The purpose of this article was to evaluate the websites of a selection of Romanian public libraries and give recommendations how to improve their usability. Fist, we have identified in the literature the the key factors considered relevants for the evaluation of the public libraries web sites. Based on the selected criteria we have aplied a web assesment index method for ten Romanian public libraries. Finaly are presented the conclusions of the evaluation.
