摘要
We describe the use of ion-scattering and recoiling spectroscopy to obtain information about the adsorption of hydrogen on crystalline surfaces. Examples of H coverage, surface atomic structure, adsorption sites and ion-surface electron exchange processes in the presence of surface hydrogen are discussed for the GaAs(110) and W(211) surfaces.
