摘要:
Sensitivity of the two-degrees of freedom based IMC controller to variation in power plant parameters is studied. Here, we adopted the reduced order model of the plant as the predictive model for the controller design. Selection of tuning parameter is critical and relates to the transient behavior of the steam power plant. Parametric study shows that the frequency regulation of the plant is highly affected by a biparametric variation in turbine and governor time constants (T-t-T-g); regardless of the variation in other plant parameters. Thus signifying the inherent limitations of the scheme used for load frequency control of the plant. Results suggest that avoiding biparametric variation can still enable smooth functioning of the degraded plant.
