Investigation of capillary Z-pinch driven by external circuits

摘要
We present an analysis of a capillary plasma Z-pinch, considered as an alternative to pumping for soft X-ray lasers. The influence of an external circuit on the evolution of pinching plasma is assessed. Calculated and measured results of pinch time for various experimental setups are compared.
