摘要
A solar photo voltaic (SPV) system with an inverter which could generate 205 V AC at 1000 Hz capable of lighting a filament lamp or heating a soldering iron has been developed. This SPV system comprises of a 30 W PV panel, a 12 V lead acid accumulator and an electronic inverter assembly, The characteristics of the PV panel has been studied under normal sunshine and augmented sunshine conditions and the corresponding power storage capabilities of the lead acid accumulator has been estimated and reported.
