摘要
In order to ensure the protection of biomedical data, it is necessary, due to their special characteristics, to approach them differently than the common data. In the biologic laboratory environment, it is possible to understand their protection as a part of consequential and interconnected measures which complement themselves. Even though there are some procedures and potentially there are also some available manuals for individual areas, it is not possible to realize them without consideration or mutual interconnection. The methods for an attack and for protection have been changing in the recent times. Therefore, it is necessary to periodically review and update the given set of measures. Even higher level of security can be reached by optimization of the workflow and by the usage of new technologies. If a more effective identification of persons and of their realized tasks is achieved in the system, it is possible to limit the leakage of sensitive information or dangerous material outside of the laboratory. Moreover, this also increases the effectiveness in generating research results.
