摘要
The essay aims to show the irreducible articulation between ethics and aesthetics as the condition of the architectural experience, of its production as well as its fruition. For this reason it is necessary to deconstruct the classical tradition to which the aesthetical dimension of architecture is usually reduced when searching for order, measure and proportion. From a phenomenological point of view, the aesthetical dimension of an architectural work has to do with the sensible, emotional experience of space, once we consider the space as the element of our dwelling on Earth, that is, according to Heidegger, as the irreducible condition of our ethos. The author resorts to the example of Le Memorial des De'portes erected in Paris to show the ethical root of the existential experience of architecture. From this perspective the author recalls the legacy of Henry Maldinay, paying particular attention to his contributions in the activities of the French network PhilAU (Philosophie, Architecture, Urbain).
