摘要
In this work, a new gap waveguide structure based on suspended strip line is proposed. To introduce this new structure, gap waveguide technology is being studied as an alternative to current waveguide technology. For gap waveguide implementation artificial magnetic conductors are studied and detailed design procedure is presented in this paper. To compare our new waveguide with conventional suspended strip line, quality factor, attenuation, power leakage and isolation in both structures are simulated and presented.
