Generation of polarization-entangled photon pairs through cavity-assisted interaction

摘要
Two single-photon pulses are simultaneously injected and reflected from two sides of the cavity with a single-trapped atom, respectively, then the maximally deterministic polarization entanglement state of two-photon is created by performing measurement on the atom. In the ideal case, the success probability of the scheme is closed to 1. Therefore, it may provide an integrated source of entangled photons. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
