摘要
The theme addressed in this research was socialization as a pedagogical intervention at the Municipal Educational Center for Children (CMEI) in Codo, Maranhao. This work aimed to make a study at CMEI Aldenora Santana de Lima in order to verify the contributions and the importance of school socialization for children. The research had as theoretical framework Fernandes (2012), Kramer (1999), Vygotsky National Curriculum Common Base (BNCC) (2017) among other references that conceive children as a subject capable of actively participating in society. The research took placein a qualitative and exploratory way, with observations and the application of a questionnaire. It is understood that socialization is necessary for the emancipation of the individual in society, has relevance in education as a whole, since the world is driven by the knowledge that individuals produce from reflection and interaction with it.
