摘要
The paper discusses integrating of current and emerging technologies with healthcare. These technologies can be used for prevention of diseases, enhancing healthcare access, efficient and accurate diagnostics, effective healthcare delivery, rehabilitation, healthcare information management, improving quality of life at all ages and many other features. In this paper, we discuss several aspects of healthcare and technologies including: development of products/devices for improving the quality of life of individuals with disabilities and help in their rehabilitation development of products/processes that will allow remote monitoring of patients, remote diagnostics, provide a mechanism for healthcare professionals to collaborate in a distributed environment, and deliver treatment using RFID and wireless sensor networks in tracking patients developing methods, mechanisms, and processes, for preventing diseases and injuries for all age groups.
