Photovoltaic self consumption analysis in a European low voltage feeder*

摘要
Electricity self-consumption consists in consumers installing their own small generators, solar photovoltaics mainly. They attempt to save money in the electric bill by producing part of their electrical energy, consequently reducing dependency on the distribution grid. Consumers that simultaneously become producers are usually known as prosumers. This work shows the techno-economical implications, in terms of electric energy, cost savings and grid voltage impact, if self-consumption is deployed in a European low voltage feeder. In the case study, the IEEE European LV test feeder was used. Real data for solar irradiance from 1985 to 2017 were considered for Gij?on, a city in the North of Spain. Conclusions may be extrapolated to different locations.
