摘要
This paper presents a timing control method managing startup process for DC-DC converters. The proposed method can force power systems to start up in a certain manner determined by outside control signal, rather than the internal start-up mechanism, which is usually important in system-level control, especially in larger power system with multiple DC-DC chips in parallel. With a proper negative feedback technique, the implementation of proposed asynchronous start mode is effectively combined with loop control system without instability issues. By setting the control time of presented asynchronous start mode, this method can enable multiple chips to be powered on synchronously or in sequentially.
