摘要
Phytoremediation using alfalfa and bioremediation were compared to determine the rate and extent of the degradation of diesel in soil. Gas chromatography analyses revealed statistically similar disappearance rates of diesel by both treatment processes. However, microbial studies seemed to imply that biodegradation is a greater contributor to overall degradation in the phytoremediation process than in the bioremediation process.
