摘要
Recently, we have added an optimization feature into our in-house 3-Dim hydrocode, ExLO [1]. A generic algorithm (GA) approach was selected to evaluate the fitness of design candidates. This has been tested for optimization of a wave-shaper in shaped-charge. We considered an idealized shaped-charge design which produces a jet with a relatively low tip velocity. Then optimum location and radius of a wave-shaper are determined to maximize the jet tip velocity or jet tip position. Two dimensional Eulerian simulations are carried out. In general, 3 generations were evaluated with 50 candidates for each generation. One full optimization process can be done in a half day. With the optimized parameters, the jet tip velocity has been increased by 20%.
