Ecological features of the Acrididae species with different ranges are especially distinct when their quantitative distribution by geomorphological landscapes is analyzed by the method of isopleth portraying. This method provides for moderate formalization necessary for comparison. Cluster analysis of the composition of multispecies landscape communities made it possible to reveal not only alpha, but also beta diversity, which can be regionalized in the skeleton map. The band of the highest diversity is expressed at the boundary between the usual and dry steppes and is displaced to the south in the river valleys.
