摘要：
By analyzing the difficulties that the Chinese English learners have in practicing speaking, focusing on phonological, lexical and syntactical details and psychological and social problems arising from the linguistic obstacles, this article is intended to expound that the causes of the silent English are complicated. Primary concern should, however, be focused on linguistic reasons and the problems arising from this.
