摘要
This letter presents a effective equivalent circuit model of circular slotted ground structure (SGS) under a planar microstrip. which cart he used as et kind of periodic structure. The circular SGS exhibits an electromagnetic hand gap or stop band in frequency responses. The proposed equivalent circuit model consists of lumped elements which cart he demonstrated as a transformer to model coupling between tire microstrip line and the circular SGS. Excellent agreement with electromagnetic (EM), extracted circuit simulations, and measurements is demonstrated. (C) 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
