摘要
During the past 30 years, the sugarcane production in Brazil, increased from less than 100 million metric tonnes to more than 400 million tonnes today. This expansion was necessitated by the expansion in the bioethanol and cane sugar demand, both locally and globally. This paper describes and discusses the various stages of the evolution of the industry, as well as the next trends, supported by technological advances, in particular those emanating from Dedini's significant expertise.
