摘要
Computer graphics is a modem information technology field, which deals with the computational processing of graphical information. It includes the areas of artistic and technical design, but it is mainly focused on the algorithms, methods and their implementations. The inclusion of computer graphics subjects into university curricula is motivated not only by modem technologies and methods being used in this branch, but above all by the training of programming techniques and math application these subjects provide. At the Faculty of Informatics and,Management of the University of Hradec Kralove, subjects Computer. Graphics 1 and 2 have been professed for several years within the curricula of the Applied Informatics study program. Besides visualisation and graphical data processing, these subjects are focused on practicing and widening of the knowledge and practical skills of students, future IT specialists. The paper introduces the contents, structure and educational techniques in the computer graphics subjects. The aim of the paper is to advertise computer graphics as an efficient and motivating platform for practicing and integrating programming and mathematical skills, and to analyse whether this skill integration projects into students' results in computer graphics subjects in relation to other subjects.
