During research into imagery sources, which illustrate votive gifts and votive actions, 112 images were gathered, showing 612 votive gifts. The frequency partition of anatomical votive gifts shows a similarity between the earlier described divisions into votive gift files. The most common images were that of leg + foot, arm + hand and eye, in this order. This numerical proportion has also been broadly confirmed in the four categories with the most images. It also showed the previously described reversed relationship between votive gifts in the form of hearts and human figures. These results are in favour of the authenticity of the images. The portrayed votive actions offered no support for the hypothesis that the offering in advance could be an explanation for the discrepancy between the large numbers of votive gifts and the expected small number of cures.
