Performance of uplink call admission control of DS-CDMA system under jamming in urban environment

摘要：
In this paper, the performance of different call admission control (CAC) algorithms of a direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system are compared under barrage jamming in an urban environment. Only the uplink circuit-switched speech traffic was inspected. The differences between the algorithms were compared through simulations and it was noticed that the performance of the CA C algorithms declined rapidly when jamming was increased. Especially the power based CAC algorithm turned out to be very sensitive to jamming.
