摘要
Poly (4, 4'- isopropylidene diphenylene diphenyl ether-4, 4'-disulfonate) [PSAE] has been synthesized by interfacial polycondensation technique by using H2O:CHCl3 (4:1v/v) as an interphase, alkali as an acid acceptor and cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide as an emulsifier at 0 degrees C for 3 h. PSAE has been characterized by IR and H-1 NMR spectral data. PSAE possesses excellent solubility in common solvents and high thermal stability (320 degrees C). The associated kinetic parameters namely energy of activation E (131.4 kJmol(-1)), order of the reaction n (1.1), frequency factor A (2.3 x 10(8) S-1) and entropy change Delta S-star (-91.3 JK(-1)) have been determined according to Anderson- Freeman method and discussed.
