Calculating levitation forces in the magnet-high-temperature superconductor systems

摘要
A new method of calculation of the magnetic levitation force in the permanent magnet-high-temperature superconductor systems is proposed based on the Maxwell equations and the Bean model. The dependences of the levitation force on the gap width calculated for various regimes of superconductor cooling are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.
