摘要：
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) publishes numerous consensus standards. The association invites the public to submit proposals for revising the existing standards' text. This paper summarizes the NFPA process and describes a case study when the author submitted two proposals for the 2015 edition of the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Work Place and their eventual outcomes.
