Carbon coated Ni nanoparticles, were prepared using tile are discharge (Huffman-Kratschmer) method. Their magnetization was measured in a wide temperature range (2-300K) by SQUID and pendulum magnetometry. Tile size distribution function of the nanoparticles is derived from tile temperature dependence of the magnetization. Small angle neutron scattering experiments were performed on tile same sample. Tile observed scattering function is fitted by a model which assumes a three-modal size distribution of spherical particles. The fitted distribution is quite similar to that derived from magnetometry measurements.
